Solana Beach is one of the great beach towns in San Diego. There are very few places that can beat it. Great beaches, great food, great weather and great people make it one of the most sought after places to live. The Vickie Lavanty Salon is an absolute peach located right in the heart of town. Happy people, friendly shops all around, and the ocean just feet away. The salon is currently undergoing some renovation to make it feel beachy and fun inside and we are so excited for everyone to get a chance to see it! Our clients are our driving factor. Your smiling faces and beautiful hair bring us joy everyday. You are the ones that make our salon amazing, so for that we say thank you.

I met Vickie when I was doing photojournalism and immediately fell in love with her and the salon. It's beautiful, quaint, and chic spot a block away from the beach. I have now been a client of Vickie's for over 5 years and couldn't be more happy. Her incredible knowledge of all things hair never ceases to amaze. She's not just a stylist, she's an innovator (her ability to keep on-pace w/ what's relevant is phenomenal), a world traveler, was a student of Vidal Sassoon and an incredible teacher. Still so glad I walked into her salon years ago. Love my hair and love Vickie!!

Vickie Lavanty is one of the best hairstylist in all of San Diego. I get my hair cut here a couple times a month and wouldn't go anywhere else. She has her own way of cutting hair that is personalized just for you and will keep you going back.

Vickie Lavanty salon is a gem in Solana Beach. Vickie is a consummate professional with an excellent eye for your hair style and color! Whether it is receiving a great cut or color or color correction, she really knows her stuff! The other half of this gem of a salon is Shondraya. She is under the watchful eye of Vickie and has grown in her experience for great cuts. She has been doing my hair color and I get many compliments on what color she has done. Plus, it is a great place for some girl time and girl talks!!
